Prana mudra represents life force. It activate the flow of life force i.e. Pran. This mudra links to the heart and soull of the person.

The principle of mudras is that the

transfer of energy. Even science has proved energy transfer from higher level to the lower level. According to Ayurveda,

our body is made up of five elements:

Agni (fire),

Vayu (Air),

Aakash (space),

Pruthvi (Earth) and

Jal (water)

When our body in healthy conditions, then all these elements show optimum balance.

However, imbalance in any one of them

affects the body. This ultimately leads to illnesses. To bring back all these five elements in their optimum balance, we perform specific mudras.
