        The name Gomukhasana comes from the Sanskrit गो go means "cow",
 मुख mukha means "face" or "mouth",
 and आसन āsana means "posture" or "seat".


         Gomukhasana Tip For Beginners:


Beginners find that it is hard to keep their sitting bones consistently on the ground. This, thusly, would keep them from put together their knees equitably on one another. To get around this issue, everything you need to do is to utilize a collapsed blanket to raise your sitting bones off the ground.

      Steps Involved in Gomukhasana:


1. Start with sitting on the floor with legs extended in front of you.
2. Slowly fold the left leg and place it under the right buttocks.
3. Now fold the right leg, and place it on top of the left thighs.
4. Make sure that both knees should be closer to each other.
5. Take your left arm and place it behind the back by bending the left arm.
6. Now Up your right arm, take it over the right shoulders
7. Place the right arm as far as it goes behind the back.
8. Now very slowly try to touch the two hands behind the back.
9. Try to catch the right hand with the left hand.
10. Beginners may touch only the fingers of the two hands. But If you do frequent practice it will be more flexible .
11. Expand the chest and chin up
12. Hold in this position for few seconds(30 to 60 seconds)
13. Breathe should be normal and deep.
14. Do all the above steps with the opposite side.
