Description of Dandasana
1. In this asana entered from a seated position with the legs extended forward.
2. The palms should be rested on the ground on either side of the body.
3. If the palms don't reach the ground then rest your fingertips.
4. The upper-body should be extending upward through the crown of the head, and the back should be completely perpendicular to the ground.
5. The legs should be together, the thigh press down and the toes should be pointing inwards toward the body.
